THE HONEST-TO GOODNESS STORY OF RAGGEDY ANDY ,JONI GRUELLE WANNAMAKER’S and PATTY’S newest book premieres in March, and publicists at Pelican Publishing Company are already hard at work setting up special events for spring and summer. In March, Patty will be doing a series of Southern California signings and presenting her RAGGEDYS HURRAH! , programs (which include story readings, hands-on activities, and her Raggedy-themed JUMPIN’ UP!™ SONGS). Then, in April, it’s a week-long tour up through Northern and Central California , with appearances at bookstores and other venues. In May, Patty travels to Indiana, Illinois, and possibly Ohio to join Joni for some joint programs and signings, including several appearances at the 16th ANNUAL ORIGINAL RAGGEDY ANN AND ANDY FESTIVAL in Arcola, Illinois. Click on PATTY’S UPCOMING APPEARANCES for dates, venues, and other details. Check back often because we’re regularly adding new listings. And, if you know of a bookstore, school, museum, or library in your area that might like to host Patty for a program or book signing, e-mail .

HEAR PATTY LIVE! IS UP AND RUNNING!
DECEMBER 15…
When Patty first envisioned an audio/video page for her web site, she wanted visitors to be able to drop in to sample her recordings and performances, get a taste of her traditional and original music, and hear excerpts from her interviews about Johnny Gruelle and Raggedy Ann and Andy. Now, after several months of selecting and editing material, we’re pleased to announce that the first .mp3 audio offerings have been posted -- some “sneak peek” samples from JUST BE GLAD!, Patty’s forthcoming CD. Thanks for your patience while we've worked on this page. And now -- Click Here to HEAR PATTY LIVE!

TOM BOYER BENEFIT A RESOUNDING SUCCESS...
NOVEMBER 23...
The November 20th spirit raiser for Tom Boyer was a remarkable event, certainly one for the memory book. Not only were the performers in top form, the sanctuary at Foothills United Methodist Church in La Mesa was filled to the rafters with Tom’s friends and fans, and we were triply blessed that Tom felt well enough to attend. AND to perform, which he did both solo, and with Greg Campbell. Tom sounded terrific, and to the delight of everyone, the guys managed little mutual onstage ribbing.

It was an afternoon filled with music and hugs and tears and good words, and everybody left with their hearts a little larger. Special credit goes to Chris Dean, Brian Baynes, Suzi Reed, Tim Woods, and Bob Boerner, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to pull it all together. To all the stellar musicians who participated -- Patty felt truly honored to be performing alongside you. And to Colleen Kelly-- you are truly an amazing lady.

Though lots have already sold, copies of “A NEW DAY,” the Tribute-to-Tom CD produced by Chris Dean and Brian Baynes (featuring Tom and all of the artists who performed at the benefit) are still available ($15. each + s&h -- e-mail info@cairneyhill.com for info) And the latest word is that “A NEW DAY” will be getting some NPR airplay on Mark Ostrov’s THE LOVEY DOODLE SHOW on KVMR-FM, which streams live from Grass Valley/Nevada City, CA.

Tom, you are an inspiration to us all. We love you and are praying for you, and can’t wait till you’re back to picking with us again.
